Ultra‑compact 3‑finger centric gripper for precise handling of very small components.

The SCHUNK MPZ‑16 provides a 1 mm stroke per jaw, 20 N closing force and 24 N opening force in a lightweight 10 g design. Its T‑slot guided base jaws ensure high load capacity and repeat accuracy of 0.01 mm, while the wedge‑hook mechanism delivers synchronous, centric gripping with reliable force transmission. The gripper supports finger lengths up to 16 mm and operates within a wide temperature range up to 90 °C.

The pneumatic unit connects via direct air supply or screw fittings, allowing fast integration into automation systems. Optional sensors—including magnetic and inductive switches—enable jaw position monitoring for increased process reliability.
