Powerful magnetic gripper for reliable handling of metal parts in demanding automation tasks.

The SMC MHM series enables secure gripping of ferromagnetic workpieces—even those with holes, uneven surfaces or high air permeability. With holding forces up to 200 N depending on model size, the gripper ensures stable handling even during air loss thanks to its magnet‑retaining mechanism. Integrated solenoid valves, speed adjustment and optional auto‑switches simplify installation and reduce external components.

Operation requires only a single air supply for release and an electrical connection for actuation. Multiple port options allow use as sensor or blow‑off port, and the unit integrates easily into common robotic systems. The compact design and compatibility with major cobot platforms enable flexible integration.

Ideal for sheet‑metal handling, assembly automation, bin picking and applications where vacuum suction is not suitable due to perforations or textured surfaces.
