How robots sweeten the world

The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Bioprocess Engineering at Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts is researching the automated decoration of marzipan or gingerbread hearts.

The aim is for monotonous and physically demanding tasks to be taken over by collaborative robots in medium-sized, craft-related businesses. This can increase production capacity and product quality.
