Test of a commissioning system

In this customer test, a room gantry was tested that is to be used by the customer as a picking system in the future.

Spatial gantries can be used in a wide variety of industries and applications, are easy to program, and are usually less expensive than articulated robot solutions. Typical application areas include automated picking, vertical farming or assembly line picking.

In this application, an igus gantry with a workspace of 2000x2000x1000 mm is used. It is compatible with various end effectors, camera systems and accessories. With the igus Robot Control (iRC) software, the programming of the room gantry can be carried out easily and without much prior knowledge.
